Attitude of Gratitude

Today is the day we start our Advent Calendar tradition.

It is a simple way to remind us what this time of the year means to us. This is also an excellent learning experience for your little ones year after year. We do not do every day of December, which gives us a chance to complete the tasks.

1 small toy won’t hurt, make it fun!

Also, among the mission of kindness, try and sprinkle in some new ornaments, little toys, and candy to make it fun.

Can't find an advent calendar? Just create your own.

Grab any box that has a top and bottom that is easy to open and close. Then glue smaller boxes inside that box. Paper mache boxes work great and available at any craft store. Decorate the top of your boxes as you wish, and don't forget to add numbers. Use some pretty festive paper to write down the task.

The goal is to have an attitude of gratitude and make it a family tradition your family looks forward to every year.
